Interesting. I bought a lot of them after last year's event, hoping to resell them for more after the event. BUt the prices only dropped more so I kept them.

I was surprised to see all the WTB's today, so I sold all but one for 6-10k each. Nice profit since I bought for 3k last year. (yes, I could probably have sold for more I read now but I'm fine with my profit.)

I bought back (for 6k) one when I read about the new collector.

I wonder if the price of pigs would go down or up tomorrow.. I'm guessing down.. because everyone will be selling today.. and tomorrow people will have lost the whole "must-get-pig" and cause prices to drop..

If you ask me, the new collector minipet should have been given to those people who actually went through the trouble of getting all ingredients, not the people who stood in town every 3 hours collecting free pigs :P
But as I highly doubt it is retroactive, give something to the people who'll do it this year.
Because, obviously, the warm, fuzzy & happy feeling you might had when knowing you did something nice for other people, can make a 180° turn and make you feel cold and miserable a year later

This is hilarious. I have 11 mini-pigs in storage, i intended to give them away to guildies...but they didn't want them!

Finally i can get my revenge on the guy who sold me my first pig for 25K early in last year's festival, before they dropped like chalks in the finale

So, did Gaile say anything else other than you -can- trade a dedicated pig to the collector, and that you can only get the rat mini from lunar fortunes? Hoping she had some more helpful info about the event and the minis.

IDK about that. People are hoarding them, and plenty of people (myself included) just deleted a whole bunch due to storage, and the fact that NO ONE has wanted them for the past year.

Well, if the new mini is going to be a Miniature Celestial Rat, maybe the collector is taking Mini Pigs and turning them into Mini Celestial Pigs?

20K to 30K for a pig is just simply hilarious.

Anything the collector is offering will NOT be worth anywhere near that amount.

I reckon you could be right here - a quick skin change to the otherwise butt-ugly pig to boost it's appeal.

I think i'll convert a couple then hang onto the originals, i'm guessing they'll be worth more than celestial versions down the track.
